Kanye West’s Yeezy Boost 350 Officially Announced by adidas Originals

Not too long ago the adidas Originals Yeezy Boost 350 saw its first release, the grey colorway, take the sneaker world by storm. Kanye West’s sneakers are notorious for being near impossible to attain and while the low boost 350s may still be quite bit difficult to get your hands on, the collaboration with adidas represents by far the most accessible release. Just this week, adidas Originals officially announced via their social media accounts the August 22nd release of the highly coveted pair of sneakers.

Just like its grey counterpart, the black colorway maintains its state-of-the-art full-length boost cushioning technology and features a slip-on upper Primeknit construction. The thick, rope-like laces, heel pull-tab and contrasting grey accents once again complete the crisp design and leaves very little to be desired. They’ve capped it off with just a hint of red stitching on the heel tab and co-branded footbeds.

A full list of official retailers across North America, Europe, Asia and Australia was leaked a while back, however a good portion of these stores will be holding raffles and contests in the week leading up to the release. The third sneaker collaboration between the rapper and the German athletic brand looks to be as successful as the previous two. Look for the much-anticipated pair of kicks to be available for around the same $200 USD range as the former.

Release Date: 08/22/15
